The breathtaking Burbank Livingston Griggs Mansion is a three-story gray limestone mansion located in Cathedral Hill and perched high on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River Valley and the city skyline. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this is one of the finest examples of mid-nineteenth century Italianate architecture in Minnesota. It was originally designed for wealthy businessman James C. Burbank, but has since been converted to there sperate units with sizes ranging from 1,000 - 4,400 square feet.

The mansion includes eighteenth century boiseries shipped from Italy and France and installed in eight major rooms, nine fireplaces, marble floors, imported antique parquet floors, a ballroom, lavish baths, rock crystal chandeliers, a tupelo, and a grand staircase.
